Bed and Breakfast Contract:
A. S. Optics Inc. offers our guests’ external security with recording cameras, to ensure any toys our guests bring will be safe from tampering.
Perfume/Cologne Policy:
We respectfully request that guests refrain from using perfumed products. We have many guests who are very sensitive to these products and can become ill if exposed to them. We provide non-perfumed personal care products for guests use. If you wish to use them please apply after leaving our home for the day.
No Smoking Policy:
We do not allow smoking inside our accommodations. Smoking outside only, with proper extinguishing of cigarette/cigar butts into the provided container by the back door. Cleaning up cigarette butts is at $40.00/hr with a minimum one hour charge.
Our Pet Policy: (click on link to view full policy)
We do allow pets on two of our properties: The Cabin and Mountain Moments Vacation Home. We can also recommend a good kennel nearby for your pet.
Ask about exceptions for special trained, personal assistant dogs.
Good Neighbour Policy:
Guests are asked to remember that this home is in a small town and we value our good relationship with our neighbours. Guests are asked to refrain from any acts that interfere with the neighbours’ right to quiet enjoyment of their properties.
Occupancy Limit:
Overnight guests are limited to the persons/animals listed on the rental agreement. Guests are not permitted after 11:00 pm out of respect or other guests/neighbours. Any one on the property after midnight, unless they are registered guests, will be deemed to be trespassing and treated as such.
Failure to respect our policies may result in immediate eviction and loss of rental fees and deposit.
Check-in and Check-out Times:
Unless otherwise agreed, arrival time is after 4:00 p.m and before 10.00 pm. Departure time is prior to 10.30 a.m. Should Guests require more flexible check-in and/or check-out times, please ask on reservation. Check in after 10.00 pm by prior arrangement only.
Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellation made by the Guest shall be in writing addressed to the owner. Deposits will be refunded less a $75.00 cancellation fee for cancellations 7 days prior to arrival date, based on double occupancy. Extra guest cancellations are subject to an additional $10.00 per person. If cancellation is less than 7 days prior to arrival date, and if the B&B room cannot be re-rented, all of the deposit may be forfeited. In the unlikely case that our B&B becomes unsuitable for renting (i.e. flood, fire, etc.), the Guest will be refunded all rental and deposit fees paid.
Cleaning Policy and Departure Procedures:
Guests are asked to leave their room in the same condition that they found it with:
- Bed linens are to be left on the beds
- All used towels placed in bathtub
- All furniture, decor items, and equipment returned to their proper places
- Remote controls returned to night stands or next to TV
- Please write note of any items that need repair, replacement, or special cleaning
